Parts and Spares Return and Refund Policy

At MK Stairlifts, we are committed to providing quality products and exceptional service. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • The item must be unused and in its original packaging.

  • All original tags must be attached.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

To initiate a return, please contact us at orders@mkstairlifts.co.uk. We will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package, as well as the return address. Please note that items returned to us without prior approval will not be accepted.

Return Shipping Cost:

  • The customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us promptly so we can resolve the issue.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Unfortunately, certain items cannot be returned. This includes:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)

  • Custom or personalized products (e.g., special orders, custom-made stairlifts)

  • Personal care products (e.g., beauty products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also do not accept returns for sale items or gift cards. For any concerns or clarifications, please reach out to us.

Warranty & Professional Installation

  • Our 30-day warranty applies only if the part is installed by a qualified stairlift engineer.

  • Returns are accepted for unused items in their original packaging.

  • Please note: The warranty and return eligibility are void if the part is not installed by a qualified stairlift engineer.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get a replacement for your item is to return the original product. Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the replacement item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are a customer based in the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days without providing any reason. To qualify for this, the item must be in the same condition as when received: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need to provide proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved or denied. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not yet received your refund, please contact us at orders@mkstairlifts.co.uk.
