How long does installation take and will it damage my home?

The Acorn 130 fits quickly and easily directly to the stairs, not the wall, so there are no structural changes required to your home. Next-day installation is also available to get you moving as quickly as possible.

What happens if there is a power cut?

Safety and convenience are built-in; every Acorn 130 comes with a backup battery as standard. This ensures you can still glide effortlessly up and down the stairs even if your home loses power.

I have a narrow hallway or a door at the bottom of the stairs. Can I still fit a lift?

Yes, the Acorn 130 is slimline and folds away conveniently when not in use. For homes where the rail might cause a trip hazard or block a doorway, we offer an optional hinged rail designed to eliminate obstructions at the foot of the stairs.

What is the weight limit and does it come with a guarantee?

The standard Acorn 130 supports a maximum weight of 127kg, while the HD version can accommodate up to 159kg. Every installation also includes a 12-month manufacturer guarantee for your peace of mind.
